Inclusive Accountable Governance
What is inclusive accountable governance?
Along with a growing and transforming society of young change agents, there is a need for policy and legislative frameworks, that work for all and encourage engagement, transparency, and open dialogue. Influencing governance systems to become sustainable and inclusive, protective and accountable for everyone requires active citizens that are formed, among other, by transformative education.
The development of democratic and transparent institutions and processes with active citizens and a vibrant, organized civil society occurs when education systems contribute to transforming unequal power structures into equitable social, economic opportunities and political relations. To do so, ECPI works across three areas to accomplish this goal:
Robust governance frameworks and financing
Resilient education systems
Digital rights mechanisms
